The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is designed to help candidates study, work, live and migrate to a country where English is the native language. This certification is widely recognized and accepted by universities and employers in English speaking countries such as Australia, Canada, New Zealand, United Kingdom and USA. There are two versions of this test: an academic version and a general training version. While universities accept the academic version the general training version is accepted by some government bodies for work and immigration.
